- 250g margarine
- 4 eggs (yolks and whites separated)
- 250 g sugar
- 250 g wheat flour
Method of preparation:
Beat margarine and egg yolks in a mixer and gradually adding sugar until a smooth cream. Stop the mixer and add gradually the flour, stirring gently. Reserve. Whisk egg whites until stiff point and add them to the dough by mixing with a spatula. Grease and flour to form an average pound cake (27 x 12 cm) and pour the mass. Bake in oven for 40 minutes or until a toothpick by introducing the dough, out clean. Remove from pan and cover with a cloth to prevent the cake to dry out.
